We have worked hard to make the Nicely Polished website user-friendly however because software such as web browsers get updated often problems can occur from time to time. In most cases, your local browser cache will be causing the issue. Please use the guides below to clear your local cache in the event of website problems. How to Clear Your Cache & Cookies

  • Clear your cookies to fix – Sign-in problems – not being able to sign-in, or able to stay signed-in.
  • Clear your cache to fix – Pages that hang, freeze, don’t finish loading, or contain old content, & online applications that don’t respond.

 

Safari

1. Select the Safari/Edit icon | Reset Safari.
2. Select the following checkboxes:

  • Empty the cache
  • Remove all cookies

3. Click Reset.
4. Close and restart your browser.

 

Internet Explorer

1. Select Tools | Internet Options.
2. Click the General tab.
3. Under “Browsing history,” click Delete.
4. Click Delete files, then click Yes.
5. Click Delete cookies, then click Yes.
6. Click Close.
7. Click OK.
8. Close and restart your browser.

Version 8

1. Select Tools | Internet Options.
2. Under “Browsing history,” click Delete.
3. Select the following checkboxes:

  • Temporary Internet files and website files
  • Cookies and website data

4. Click Delete.
5. Click OK.
6. Close and restart your browser.

 

Firefox

1. Version 3 for PC: Select Tools | Clear Recent History.
Version 3 for Mac: Select Firefox | Clear Recent History.
Version 18 and above for all OS: Select Firefox | History | Clear Recent History.
2. Next to “Details,” click the down arrow.
3. Select the following checkboxes:

  • Cookies
  • Cache
  • Active Logins

4. Using the “Time range to clear” drop-down menu, select Everything.
5. Click Clear Now.
6. Close and restart your browser.

 

Chrome

1. Select the Tools icon | Settings.
2. Click Settings.
3. Click Show advanced settings.
4. Under “Privacy,” click Clear browsing data.
5. Select the following checkboxes:

  • Empty the cache
  • Delete cookies and other site and plug-in data

6. Click Clear browsing data.
7. Close and restart your browser.
